NEW ADDITION

No Lisa is not pregnant. Here was my christmas gift. Thank you baby. His name is Toby, and he is the sweetest dog in the world. He loves to chew on everything and wishes Zorro would play with him but he just growls. I also have to say thank you so much to Beth and Chad for picking him out and watching him for a week. They became his godparents and Toby will love them both forever.

Top reasons I love Christmas!

We have had a crazy week with the kids school christmas parties but it has been so much fun. I have been able to try and bring out my creative side which I am sad to say is extremely tiny. We made this train car for Dylans choo choo parade at school. It was so much fun getting his ideas on how to decorate it and where he wanted everything and I think it turned out pretty cute and he totally loved it. We spent about three hours constructing the whole thing. I love that bonding time.
Brock had his party on wednesday and it was so much fun. Its the first time I have had the chance to spend all day with him at school. They decorated their own little gingerbread houses and it is so cute to see how much effort Brock puts into it, all the kids just put as much candy as they could and in no particular way but Brock sat their for then minutes longer than all the rest and was so precise. I had to take Kaden with me to the party and he became an honorary member of the class. He danced for all the parents while the kids sang thir christmas songsa dn made everybody laugh. He even sat on Santas lap and loved it. These sweet boys make every holiday so much better.

Happy Birthday Dylan!

Even though this is a little late I just had to post about Dylan for his birthday. I really dont even know where to begin with this precious boy. Most people know that Dylan was born on my twentieth birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present. Being so young myself when he was born I felt totally unprepared and undeserving. Dylan and I have been through so many ups and downs together and I know that he was sent here from my Heavenly Father to teach me something. In the first few months of his life I couldn't figure out what it was that I was suppose to be learning and it was probably one of the most difficult times in my life. There was so much joy and so much pain all at once and I didn't know how to process everything I was feeling. Now that he is six years old everyhting I felt back then seems like a distant memory. He has brought so much joy and love into my life that it is hard to put into words. Every milestone that he hits just makes me realize how lucky I am to have him as a son. He has taught me to be more patient, understanding, compassionate and loving. I know he will continue to enrich my life and teach me things i need to know. I love you so much Dylan and I feel so bleesed that I get to have you as a part of our family.

HALLOWEEN!

The best part about having little kids on Halloween is that it doesn't last for just one night but it lasts for a whole week. It all started a week ago when we went to the halloween carnival at Dylan's school. They had the big bouncy houses and slides which are the boys favorites. then we went around to all the booths to play the games and get prizes but their favorite thing was a train ride that was pulled by a big tractor according to Brock (actually it was just a riding lawnmower but he was fascinated.)
Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and the cutest turtle ever!

Then during the week both the boys had parties at school an they said they had so much fun. Brocks class sang songs for all the parents and Erik got to go see that cause I was working but he said it was so cute and in typical Brock fashion he was the most animated singer out of all the kids. At Dylans party all the kids did a parade through the school and then made a witches brew in class and made spider donuts. It makes me wish i was a kid again. Then when friday rolled around I thought the boys would be burnt out but I should know better. We took the boys to a trunk or treat at the community center and then ended the night with Brooke and Jona and Brittany and Dustin. The kids went trick or treating in their neighborhood and then were hyper all night thanks to the sugar rush. It could not have been better!

Happy Birthday Kaden!!!

Today is our baby boy Kaden's second birthday. He is such an adorable boy and has grown and changed so much in the past year. He is always laughing and when he flashes you one of those adorable smlies you can't help but smile too.

Kaden spent most of the day sitting with his daddy and Zorro watching conference and football and chewing on his toothbrush. I have no idea why he loves this so much.

Kaden wasn't to sure about opening his presents but he really got the hang of it after the first one. He was definitely spoiled this year, he got lots of toys and the cutest clothes from his aunt Beth and Joleen. Beth is turning him into such a little stud. The next time he wears them I will take pictures so everyone can see.

We had Brittany and Dustin and Brooke and Jona over for cupcakes and ice cream. All the kids had such a fun time playing together. We are so lucky to have such great family so close. They have all become some of our greatest friends and it is so fun to be surounded by so many wonderful kids. Thank you so much to everyone for making it such a great birhday for Kaden. We love you so much Kaden!

Lake Mead!!

We finally were able to see the boat with everyone this weekend. We had a blast. The kids are fish. Lake Mead was beautiful It was glass all day, so I was able to do my flip on the wakeboard. When it is calm I am able to do that. LOL.
Aunt Annie has been missed and the kids loved seeing her again.
Three little fishes. Dylan thought the legs in the water were fish, he kinda freaked out a couple times when the white fish showed up.
Three good looking guys. Brock, your future carries a bald head!
They were all trying to find a beach. Dylan and Brock thought it was a treasure map! Kevin cant figure out what Lake we are even at.
For being 29 Years old. I am dead sexy!! Look Kaden what you have to look forward too
Brock was brave enough to do the tubes with us. He did get me off my tube first. Brock you won!!
Lisa was very impressive. Got up every time. Just need to get out of the wake. Love Ya Baby!!! And Mom keep trying. You'll get it down. Annie, impressive also on the board, it is hard to get the board straight, but getting up is half the battle.

We almost convinced Dylan to wakeboard. He said he would when we buy him a wakeboard his size. Next year Dylan well get ya started
It was hard seeing everyone go, but we all had a lot of fun. The boat is always a good time as Beth put it. I apologize for creating the titanic waves that soaked my dad on the front end. They claim I tried sinking the boat with all the water. All and all TY TY is the best driver. Thanks for the good time.

Kindergarten

It finally happened, my baby has started kindergarten! I always knew this would be an exciting day for both me and Dylan but what I wasn't prepared for was how emotional I would be. I think I was the only mom who openly cried when I dropped him off. I am sure the other moms had some tear shed they were just able to control themselves until they were back in the privacy of their cars! When Dylan saw my tears he asked me why I was crying and I told him I was so proud of him and that I just couldn't believe how big he was getting and he flashed me one of those adorable smiles. I then gave him a kiss and told him I would miss him, he then told me I love you mommy and the tears just kept on coming. I finally regained my composure and have been okay ever since. I can't believe how fast time has gone, it feels like just yesterday that this wonderful boy came into my life and now here he is starting school. Now that I have told you about my emotional breakdown I will tell you that he absolutely loves school and his teacher. He has already made some great friends and now he tells me that he wants to ride the bus with his friends. If I was a basket case when I dropped him off, imagine how I am going to be when I have to put him on a bus! I am so not prepared for this, so I guess its a good thing he is. Here are some of my favorite pictures of our first six years together!

We love you so much Dylan and are so proud of you!

California!

Over the weekend we drove to California to see Erik's family. We had such a great time and crammed a whole lot in to a short amount of time. I won't go over everything we did cause I could just write forever, so I will let the pictures do the talking. It was so wonderful to see everyone. We miss them so much and hope they all know how much we love them

The Hills Are Alive!

On wednesday night Erik and I had the chance to see the Sound of Music at Tuacahn with Mark and Julie and Ross and Susan. We had such a great time. For all of you who don't know the Sound of Music is my favorite movie and I have every song memorized. I just wish I could carry a tune. Climb Every Mountain is my favorite song and it was sung last night by the lovely nun we got our picture with. She was the hi-light of the show, at least for me. This was one of the best nights Erik and I have spent together in a long time. I am so lucky that he enjoys the artsy things I do. Thanks babe your the best!

Happy Late Fourth!

I know its a little late but I hope everyone had a great fourth! Here is how we spent ours. We took the boys to go see wall-e during the day and it is such a cute movie. We got to help Brooke and Jona move into their new house. It is the nicest house I am so happy for them and to have them so close. We went over to Brooke's Grandmas house to watch the fireworks and the were spectacular even though they lit the side of the mountain on fire.  All in all it was a great day!

We decided we just didn't get enough fireworks on friday so we had Brooke, Jona and the kids over on saturday for a BBQ. All the kids loved lighting off our own fireworks with the exception of Kylie and Kaden, they were not big fans of how loud they were
